Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

I am looking forward to learning how you can work with your teacher to contribute to your future success and our school.

We want to encourage you to achieve your personal best through your high school years so that you leave with good memories about all that you have learned and with a sense of achievement.

Vincentia High School may be much bigger or smaller than your previous school. You will soon find your way around and amazingly learn the routines and rhythms of our school. You will have many and varied opportunities to extend and deepen your learning through different subjects and pathways.

I want you to make the most of the learning experiences that we provide and be actively involved in our community.

I am confident that you will graduate high school with a strong sense of your own identity, with many skills that prepare you for your future lives, and knowing what is important for you now and in your future.

Over time, you will steadily make progress, sometimes this will be easier than others. You will need to take full responsibility for listening to and respecting your teachers to ensure you get the best out of every day.

We have a large support network to assist students and parents in ‘learning for life.’

We are a comprehensive high school that takes great pride in providing an inclusive learning environment for our students and families. Please contact your Year Advisor initially to talk about this.

The best education happens when parents and schools work together.

Stay positive, learn to think critically and enjoy our warm welcome.
