Careers
Careers in a Container (CIAC) Official Launch Tuesday 24 March 2026
A fantastic example of what happens when strong career strategy, persistence and partnership come together. A massive credit to our Careers Adviser Maree McNeil for driving this over a number of years and an initiative supported by Regional Industry Employment Program - RIEP's Neil Bessant from the outset.
The CIAC Initiative aims to increase student awareness of local career and opportunities, and boost confidence in gaining employment, moving into positive career pathways. Together, VHS and CIAC will help prepare our students to confidently navigate their future careers and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Student groups at VHS will be able to utilise the facility to welcome industry experts directly into the school environment, fostering real-world engagement that supports career exploration and skill development.
This space is about connecting schools and industry in a practical, ongoing way so students can build skills, explore pathways and engage with real employers.
