We are incredibly proud of our HSC students and their outstanding results. Congratulations to our Class of 2018; your hard work has paid off and your future is looking bright! Mrs Hobbs is an extremely proud ‘school mum’ and said, “They were a very supportive cohort, knew where they wanted to get and worked hard to get there.”
The eight students who made the Distinguished Achievers List are very excited about their results and gave credit to the constant emotional support they received from their class mates and teachers. The students commented that it was very rewarding to see their marks and that all their hard work paid off. They are very excited to be moving on and starting university. The following students received a Band 6 for these subjects and are very happy with their ATAR:
Lauren Allen - Design & Technology – ATAR 85.20 - UOW - Bachelor of Maths & Science to become an astronaut!
Jackson Andre’ - Advanced English; Society and Culture – ATAR 90.90 - Sydney – Bachelor of Architecture.
Elisha Byrnes - Ext English 1
Madeleine Cooper - Hospitality - Food & Bev – ATAR 76.4 - Charles Sturt Wagga – Bachelor Animal Science.
Tathra Difinubun - Ext English 1 and Ext English 2 – ATAR 80.05 – Taking a gap year.
Chloe Mayberry - Ext English 1 – ATAR 85.40 - Canberra University – Nursing.
Terri Milani - Design and Technology – ATAR 83.35 – UOW
Ellie Wright-Pederson - Design and Technology; Advanced English; Ancient History; Geography – ATAR 95.10 - UTS – Bachelor Design & Visual Communications or may study in Denmark.
Mr Ken Bates (Principal) said, “It was a collegial group held together by the work of their year advisor and school mum, Mrs Gabrielle Hobbs. They had a friendly, competitive spirit and encouraged each other to do better.”
