In Week 1, Term 3, VHS hosted a number of Australian and International Victoria Cross, George Cross and Cross of Valour recipients. The Victoria Cross and George Cross are military medals, while the Cross of Valour is a civilian medal, equivalent to a military medal.
Thank you to Mr Rick Meehan, and our own Mrs Maryann Meehan for organising such a wonderful event.
Ray Martin and his film crew were in attendance, recording for their upcoming documentary, which will be aired on The History Channel (Australia).
