Hampers for the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub

MAD stands for are you Making A Difference? Ms Meehan said that the students were able to choose to make a difference within their community or at school. One group organised a mufti day at school and raised $300 which was used to create 13 Christmas hampers for the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub to give to families in need. The other groups worked on making a difference to the school grounds with the cleaning of the steps outside the performance space and the creation of a wall near the basketball courts that will have a wellbeing message painted on it. Well done year 7 for the huge difference that you have made to your school and the wider community.
