We are extremely excited to have been successful in receiving the NSW Department of Education’s 16th Annual Nanga Mai Award for Outstanding School and Community Partnership. WE (Vincentia High School and Wreck Bay Community) have worked together for many years to form a strong partnership that benefits students and community.
This award is presented to a school that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to respectful and productive partnerships with students, staff, parents and their local Aboriginal communities.
George Brown from Wreck Bay Community, said that he is proud of the work they do with Vincentia High School and he would like to congratulate and thank everyone at VHS that support our presence and contributions. George also thanked his mob at Wreck Bay Council and Booderee National Park who provide opportunities, show up and give back by investing in our youth – our future leaders.
Vincentia High School is very proud of our partnership with Wreck Bay Council and Booderee National Park, working together to give our students the very best education and learning experience to support them with their post school goals.
